    It's Coldwell Banker, not Caldwell.

There are both Keller Williams and Coldwell Banker agents on this board, I'm sure they will chime in soon.

Hi, I am in California so I am not sure of the difference in Tx. I've worked for Coldwell Banker then moved to Keller Williams because it fit my business model.

I would suggest that you interview with these two companies as well as maybe 3 others. Ask lots of questions, take notes, and don't make any quick decisions until you compare the companies and what they have to offer. It also helps to talk to some agents who work at those companies. Keller Williams has a much different business model than some other companies. So much of who you select to work for hinges upon what your business goals are. Things to consider: How much education do I need? How much of the commission do I want as opposed to the brokerage. Does the company have a franchise fee on every single transaction or does it cap? Is the advertising the company provides more important then advertising on my own behalf? Do you want a mentor program and does the company have one?

Another thing to consider are companies such as Zip Realty where you are on a salary, and maybe consider working on a team.

I hope this helps you. You'll get other opinions on here shortly.
