    Home In Emory Area

Can anyone help me? I'm selling my home in the Decatur/Emory area and I have a question.

Will the purchase of new kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer increase the asking price of my home? If so, by how much?

    Thanks for your help.

I don't think it will increase by much...but what it may do is help in the sell of the home as home buyers take this into consideration when looking for a home and new appliances will be more appealing to the buyer as this is something they will not have to buy themselves.

Slidell08 had it right, it may not significantly help the purchase price of your home (it may actually stay the same) but it will make your home more marketable and attract more people to want to make an offer.

If you can afford a new kitchen it will definitely help in setting your home apart from others on the market.

    Good luck.

The advice may be good, I don't know, but e-agent sends spam so as a portal for real estate I would question everything on this site.

I'm new to the forum but I haven't seen any spam from e-agent.  The answer I gave to the question was really from me and wasn't spam from e-agent.  I think we should give this site a chance...don't you?  I like to be able to help on questions only if I feel I am qualified to answer the questions.....anyway, my answer to the question remains the same.  It's a buyers market and now the seller has to regroup their thoughts into what will sell their home and that is where realtors and home stagers can be a big benefit to the seller and the buyer as well!  Hope you have better luck w/e-agent!
