Last Friday night, the town was alive with excitement for our annual Parade of Lights. It's one of those hometown parades where anyone or group that wants to participate is welcome. Of course, it was 70 degrees on Thursday and dropped to the 30's with snow on Friday - the perfect atmosphere. The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and other groups walk the route, followed by "floats", some more extravagant than others. The main street is lined with folks of all ages. The kids are waiting for candy handouts and SANTA! Watchers call out greetings to participants they know. FUN in capital letters...
