    Is Staging the Answer?

I am a new real estate investor trying to sell a recently rehabbed rowhouse in Baltimore City, Canton area.  The feedback we are getting so far is that the property was beautifully done inside and out; however, the two bedrooms are too small.  While they are on the smallish side (they are actually 9x9 and 10x9), it's about what you would expect for homes like this in the downtown Baltimore waterfront area.  So is staging the answer to help potential buyers to visualize their furniture in the bedrooms, or is there something else I should be doing?

That may be a more effective tactic. However, you have to be careful when staging a room. While it makes the room seem inviting and cozy, sometimes it can make it look fake and, well, staged. You want people to be able to visualize their own things in the room, not make it look so picturesque that it seems like it came straight out of a store. What you might want to tryis handing out a basic blueprint or layout of the room so people can take it home and sketch out where their stuff would go, should they want to buy. Just a thought.
