We've received a few inches of snow today--perhaps 3 inches so far.  With temperatures in the high thirties this will not last on the ground, obviously, but will give the earth a good soaking.

However at the Santa Fe ski basin they're received 16 inches of new powder in the last 48 hours--and up there with today's temperature around 21 degrees the story is different!  Skiers are ecstatic about the mountain conditions.  Last I read there is a base of 54 inches.  You can read more at www.skisantafe.com.
