List of 5 mistakes a "First Time Buyer" makes

    1.  Many first time buyers will begin searching for homes without first getting pre-qualified

        A.  Prequalification prevents unneccessary stressful and emotional moments

    2.  Many first time buyers do not understand the reason why they should have an agent represent them in a home search

    3.  Many first time buyers do not understand anything about the costs involved in purchasing a home

    4.  Many first time buyers do not interview agents to determine which agent has his best interest at heart.

        A.  First time buyers are afraid to ask question, or may not know the questions to ask

       B.  First time buyers may have attended a seminar and feel that it covered everything they needed to know, which may be untrue

    5.  Many first time buyers do not have any idea of how much home they can purchase, or can't purchase.

I have to agree, many buyers do not understand what the importance of being prequalified or preapproved is.  There are some sellers out there who will not even entertain an offer or even showing if the buyer has not been prequalified.   So get those buyers prequalified BEFORE showing them homes, it cuts down on alot of frustration on both parts!
