    Home values in Los Angeles

Are they going up or down? Can anyone point me to some statistical data (a website would be fine) where I can read or see a chart on the median value of homes in the LA area? I personally think they are still the same but I need to know because my buddy is looking to sell his home and get a place near Sacramento. Ciao

Hello! The MLS ( www.themls.com ) is a great place where you can view statistics and see charts over the past year or certain months even. I think you can sign on as a guest and get the information needed. I am a REALTOR and an MLS member. If you're buddy is considering selling his house, he shoudln't be scared or shy away because of the market. What it's really going to take is an expert sales person. The rates came down a tiny bit, but there is ALWAYS someone looking to buy and sell in Los Angeles. Hope this helps! ~Narcissa
